Manage multiple crews performing asphalt paving, milling, seal coating, and striping. Responsible for project scheduling, quality control, production, and logistics. Insuring that projects come in at or under budget. Ability to recruit, supervise, train, and develop personnel. Also manage several municipal and government contracts from the initial proposal process to invoicing the project and everything in between.

Responsible for outside sales volume of approximately 6 million dollars annually, from the initial proposal process, managing the project, invoicing, and following up with the customer. Target customer base of property managers, retail, HOA's, and several municipal contracts. Maintaining and developing solid relationships with prospective and existing clients. Developing sales and market projections, and monitoring pricing schedule on a daily basis to insure maximum profits.

Prepared specific takeoffs from drawings. Responsible for preparing bid packages, estimates, analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for new construction and public projects.Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and vendors. Attend pre-bid and project meetings. Worked with senior estimators in pricing projects. Develop and promote client relationships.

Started working in asphalt during the summers at the age of 13. I have been addicted ever since. Started with a shovel, and picked up on running rollers, pavers, etc. I am so thankful for these valuable years and all that I learned. Still to this day love to climb on a paver or roller. Its all fun to me. Not afraid to get my hands dirty.
