I was the Lead Technician and Training Technician at Southwest Testing and Balancing. We perform complete air and water balance. This includes the set up and certification of pressure sensitive rooms, fume hoods, outside air requirements, fire life safety testing, and sequence of operation testing for hvac systems.

I completed my 4 year apprenticeship at Technical Air Balance before I was eventually "turned out" to a technician. During this time I was fortunate enough to be trained by and work side by side with test and balance technicians that had 20+ years of experience in the trade.
