I have carried out the process design on many successful water treatment projects, taking these from conceptual design right to construction completion, fulfilling the commissioning manager role where possible. This has given me great insight into what helps a project be delivered to time and budget, and what can hinder.I have led, coordinated and motivated commissioning teams made up of personnel from 5 companies, to achieve business critical deadlines. I have also led multidisciplinary teams to deliver numerous studies on time and budget, and to a high standard against extremely demanding deadlines using both internal and external resources. The varying team performances and problems encountered along the way have help me understand how to manage effectively and produce optimum outcomes for the future.Specialties: Water process, design and commissioning: hard low-land waters, river and ground water; control; ozonation; high-rate clarification; filtration; pesticide removal with GAC; nitrate removal with ion exchange; cryptospridium removal with cartridge filters and membranes; and disinfection.
