The Performance & Compliance Manager is responsible for providing end to end best practices to meet company business objectives and meet compliance with NZ industry regulations, to ensure Distribution Centre readiness to meet both internal and external audits. Coaching the Distribution Centre management teams to ensure all Health & Safety and SOP requirements are adhered to and in place. To promote & develop a people first culture, driven by clear engagement consistency & open door policy for all team members.This includes collaborating with Fonterra Brands NZ (FBNZ) Supply Chain and other FBNZ Distribution Centre teams. The position is also responsible for ensuring strict adherence to Fonterra’s health and safety policies, standards and procedures; effectively implementing agreed operational strategies and plans ensuring optimal utilization of resources (people and assets); managing the employment relationship including resolution of site union issues; and leading, managing and developing people, ensuring alignment to Fonterra’s people and performance capability building and development programs.

The main purpose of this technical and analytical role is to govern, control and audit all Export regulatory requirements which are affiliated with Inventory related data, process and functions across the Fonterra New Zealand Brands Supply Chain and Manufacturing sites (Including Raw and Finished Goods). Leading optimisation and alignment throughout Logistics and Manufacturing facilities to meet or exceed regulatory obligations.

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations• Manage and source pharmaceutical requirements• Maintain relationships with Suppliers / Customers• Manage relationships with third party Logistics partners• Produce and submit monthly global MSD reports

• Supply Chain Management including Purchasing & Procurement • Manage, source and forecast material requirements for capital projects• Manage warehouse allocation of materials• Manage operational relationships with third party Logistics partners• Manage the flow of materials to contractors• Source / Manage Suppliers and maintain relationships• Contract Management• Quality Assurance – including reviewing contractor performance against contract requirements and key performance indicators

• Maintain Sharp systems ensuring adequate stock levels to meet forecasted demands• Conduct forecasting and planning, liaise with Suppliers.• Monitor closing stock levels ensuring they are in line with budget• Propose purchase quantities ensuring they are in line with budget• Highlight over-stocked products and propose countermeasures• Contribute to achieving Sales, Profit and Inventory budgets

• Purchasing goods and services including maintaining rapport with International and Local suppliers• Product Management including forecasting, re-pricing stock and assisting in product promotions• Accessing competitor products, and sourcing new suppliers• Shipping, Logistics including negotiating freight rates
