Michael is the co-founder of LimeHK Accelerator, one of the fastest growing accelerators in Hong Kong which supports the development and accelerates the growth of early to mature stages startups across the APAC region. LimeHK consulted, incubated and accelerated over 50 local and overseas startups, including unicorns, in the past years.As a serial entrepreneur, technology believer, startup mentor and strategic advisor, Michael is a passionate startup community builder. He is currently acting as mentors and advisors of JETRO Global Acceleration Hub, global and local tech startups. Michael has successfully created matches and facilitated deals for startups with VCs, corporations, and government bodies. Michael is also a frequent judge and guest speaker for different corporates seminars and pitching competitions in universities (e.g. London Business School MBA, Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University SPEED, etc.) and international conferences (e.g. HK FintechWeek, Asian Financial Forum and Innovation Leaderships Summit Japan, etc.)Michael owns over 10 years of experience in technology (specializing in Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Algo Trading, Blockchain and other Fintech applications), business, investment, banking, capital market and risk management. He is also a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) while passed CFA Level 2 in 2014.Before founding LimeHK, he served top tier financial institutions and tech firms, providing business, technology, corporate finance, wealth management, treasury and risk management advisory to corporates, MNC, SOEs, listed companies, SMBs and high net worth individuals. He also continuously researched and built up different discretionary trading models and algorithms to identify stable alpha factors and high Sharpe ratio.
