From start up I have overseen a £12 million Green Field investment programme in the UK to facilitate safe manufacture, distribution, sales and marketing of Flurodeoxyglucose, a radiopharmaceutical employed in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

I was accountable for turnover of £44.7 million, and oversaw 70 Sales and Customer Service personnel.Brands: Portex, Graseby, level 1, Wallace, BCI, Pneupac, Deltec, pvb, Bivona, Medex.

I was accountable for the delivery of £17.3 million budgeted turnover, with portfolios including Airway Management, Thoracic Drainage & Patient Monitoring. I was a strategic partner with NHS PASA. I developed Easy-Stock: a virtual cost efficient medical device inventory system. I had total responsibility for 55 sales, marketing and customer service personnel, and also recruited a team of NHS Regional Contract Managers. I oversaw increased sales by 28% 1998/2002.

A start up position to establish sales of high quality medical products to the UK health service and related industries. I doubled sales turnover to £6 million in 2.5 year period. I successfully relocated the operation to North West England and initiated UK production.

I was accountable for sales turnover in excess of £20 million domestic and export and oversaw one sales manager and 5 sales people (3 industrial, 3 hospital). Specialism in medical packaging/hospital products. I consolidated a network of international hospital product distributors and established Japanese hospital product distributorship.

I increased sales from £9 million to £10 million in this period and oversaw 1 sales manager, 3 sales people and 2 internal customer service executives. Specialism medical packaging/technical papers.
