Hello! I’m Michael Zalewski, a Mechatronics Engineering Technology student at Wichita State University and an Automation Engineering Intern at Rubbermaid Commercial Products in Winfield, Kansas. My career began with roles as a manufacturing apprentice, quality control technician, and design engineering tech, providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Currently, my focus is on integrating automated systems to boost productivity, maintenance efficiency, and repurpose existing systems for new functions. This role has expanded my skills in design, fabrication, integration, and system programming. My efforts in experimental projects and scalable solutions have led to significant enhancements in productivity and production capacity.Beyond my professional experience, I actively participate in design projects and competitions, applying my knowledge in both academic and practical settings.
