PCM at the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor

Northern Line Extension Programme. £1.2bn programme extension to London Underground's Northern line. 2 new stations (Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station, 6.5km of new tunnels. Tunnels mostly created by Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) with remaining Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) and Spheroidal Graphite Iron (SGI) rings.

Crossrail Programme. £15bn rail programme creating a new east-west route under central London. Crossrail will add 10% new capacity to London's already congested transport infrastructure.

Thameslink Programme. £6.5bn rail upgrade programme to improved the north-south rail network through central London. Complete reconstruction of 2 world-class Main Line railway stations at London Bridge and Blackfriars. Hundreds of Kms of new track, new signalling and comms, hundreds of platform extensions to accomodate new 12-car trains. Blackfriars station is on a bridge over the River Thames and on its roof are 6,500 solar panels which, during summer months, generate all the power needed to run the station. I was the Sponsor for this 1MW solar project.
