We are problem solvers with an affinity to do what others can't or won't do.Anthony's was started by my dad, Tony, and my mom, Marian, on March 1, 1988. I joined the company in 1994. I learned the HVAC industry from the attic down while I became an expert in duct work, attics, air flow and air distribution as an FPL approved duct seal contractor in 1994. I later learned equipment function and performance as a maintenance technician through tuning and cleaning 1000's of systems and measuring equipment output and capacities. I began load calculations for residential applications in 1996 ensuring that our clients had the correct size equipment and proper ducting. In October of 1998, I lost my dad and our 3 man company became a 2 man company with no license holder. I immediately turned my attention to getting licensed. It was a challenge I embraced. While other technicians seemed inclined to bury their dead with the condemnation and replacement of the equipment, I found that I could literally bring equipment back from the dead for at least a short while. I received my license in October 1999. I grew the company 15-25% annually. We focused on customer service and grew the company with referrals. We concentrated on doing the right thing and giving our clients options. We didn't create a sense of urgency where one did not exist. If we could make it work one more time, we did. I believe that the best salesperson is also the most knowlegeable. I train technicians, not salespeople. You don't need new until we say you do.
