I worked five years as a Avionics Technician for the Super Stallion helicopters as an active duty Marine. I then worked for Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation for seven years as a UAV technician while I simultaneously completed my BS in Electrical Engineering from TCNJ.Following the completion of my degree, I accepted a commission as a US Naval officer, completed the Navy's advanced nuclear course, and instructed US Naval officers and enlisted members how to operate powerplants for submarines and aircraft carriers for five years. I also qualified to operate and served as the equivalent of a shift supervisor for three different submarines, supervising all operations onboard for the reactor and engine room. I operated during steaming conditions, and also oversaw maintenance for shutdown periods.After ending my military service I joined Santee Cooper in South Carolina where I currently assist the generating stations with boiler chemistry and managing environmental systems to produce clean and reliable energy. I have assisted with many Selective Catalytic Reducer layer changeouts for several different units and a Chemical Cleaning of a 600 MW coal power plant as project manager. I am familiar with Asbestos and Radioactive Waste regulations and serve as SME for Santee Cooper.I am the proud father of four wonderful children, and I am happily married to my amazing wife.
