I am an experienced senior manager, NFP board director, and compliance leader in the wine industry. With a passion for wine communication and gender equality I spend much of my personal time volunteering with NFP groups leading and participating in conferences, mentoring programs, strategy sessions and workshops designed to educate and encourage personal growth and diversity. I have a passion for building strong cross-functional teams. Leadership, strategy, systems and change management are an intrinsic part of my personal Ethos. For over 20 years I have enjoyed getting to know multiple streams of the wine industry, giving me a well rounded understanding not only of wine, but of business objectives, planning and networking. I believe it is important to build relationships across industries. My cross-functional skills come into play when coordinating major changes that affect multiple areas of businesses. While I have enjoyed technical roles, over the years I have found my passion in people management and change management. I embrace change and I love to work with teams to come up with creative solutions and build robust systems. This sums my style up very well. I am goal orientated, detail orientated and love to involve people in my tasks. It means I like to drive projects through to completion efficiently, to a high standard and I bring people along on the journey. I have led multiple projects across the country in many fields of business including Laboratory, Cellar, Winemaking, Packaging, Sustainability, Viticulture, Audits, Analytical Services, etc. I have also led high achieving teams, mentoring many to meet their project and career goals.
