I have experience in performing geophysical log interpretation and subsurface mapping: Identified distinct boundaries between different hydrogeological units, mapped depths of different desired formations and depths of the fluid contents beneath the surface by borehole well logs. Also performed Land Agent work; Negotiating oil and gas leases, with minor abstracting work and research. Experience with Mudlogging/Geosteering wellsite geology: Maintained a record of drilling operations for the duration of oil and gas wells being drilled. Created mud log for a geologic record of the site that was being drilled. Also monitored oil and gas shows (depending on what type of well being drilled), monitored Rate of Penetration or ROP, the speed of the rotation of the bit, and the pit levels. In addition to obtaining sample cuttings for further analysis of what type of rock and minerals were present. In college (Morehead State University) I performed Paleopalynological processing and type analyses: Sample disaggregation, short centrifugation for clay removal, treatment with hypochlorous acid, KOH, heavy density separation, slide making, gross estimation of plant/fungal types present. Each research project I completed I either did an oral presentation, or poster presentation, all of which is now Published Abstracts or Published Presentations.
