I have recently finished training within Salesforce, DevOps and Microsoft Azure fundamentals, and am working towards an AZ 900 certification. I have worked on a variety of solo projects since starting at QA, the first being the creation of a CRUD web application. This was constructed using flask and html, and was deployed via Jenkins. I have worked on a variety of solo projects since starting at QA, the first being the creation of a CRUD web application. This was constructed using flask and html, and was deployed via Jenkins. The second solo project involved the creation of a web application utilising 4 services within its architecture with a randomised function. This was constructed using flask and was deployed via a Jenkins pipeline. Ansible was used to deploy a docker swarm and nginx was used as a reverse proxy and load balancer such that rolling updates could be applied to the application without downtime. The third project I worked on was a group project where we were tasked with deploying a third-party application using Azure. This project was a great experience for us to successfully incorporate an agile methodology and understand its benefits for application development. The project focuses on building a complete continuous delivery pipeline for a sample web abb with an AngularJS front-end and a REST API back-end. The app was containerised using Docker and orchestrated using Kubernetes. All virtual machines and Kubernetes nodes were provisioned using Terraform, and configured using Ansible. Using all of the knowledge gained up to this point we expertly crafted an optimal solution that prioritised scalability with low cost, whilst still retaining optimal performance. We also ensured that all major features were documented in line with correct development process. Here I contributed to the creation and optimisation of functionality within salesforce to meet stakeholder requirements. This specifically involved the creation of new fields using apex code, optimisation of reports and dashboards and adapting the role architecture through the building of new permission sets and profiles.
