I have recently started working for this company and I am really enjoying my position. I've found it quite interesting, adapting to a completely different workplace and meeting a lot of new people during my time here. Serving customers food and drinks. Working closely as a team with other members of staff both in the restaurant and bar. Ensuring all customers are happy and pleased with the customer service that they receive whilst in the establishment. Also working with the kitchen staff to make sure that all customer orders are correct.

Cheque Centre provides financial services to the public in the form of Short Term Loans, Cheque Cashing, Currency Exchange and Western Union.I began in the company as a Customer Service Rep working within a few branches in the Edinburgh and Lothians area. I was then based in the Craigshill branch and when the manager left I was promoted to Branch Manager. When the Almondvale Shopping Centre branch opened I moved there. In this position i aid with recruitment and run a small shop team, ensuring the branch hits targets, promoting our products and growing our customer base among other duties. I also worked closely with managers in the other branches to ensure i carried out best practise and that i allowed the branch to grow to its full potential. The Almondvale branch has provided me with a lot of challenges, which i enjoy, there is always something different to do and i enjoyed working with, and helping, our large customer base.

West Calder - West Lothian

The Gallery Coffee Bar is a small establishment based in West Calder. There was a very close team, as well as the cafe side of it we also displayed and sold artwork for various local artists.I worked here part-time while I was at school and college. I worked in a very small team both working in the front cafe area and in the kitchen. Serving customers, ensuring all orders are taken and dealt with promptly, making coffees and making up the plates for the meals.
