I’m a junior UX designer, with a decade of customer service, skilled in empathizing with people to create a meaningful experience. I’m ambitious, adaptable & a big-picture thinker who is mindful of the small details. I can see how my many years in retail truly prepared me for this new journey- I've been able to take my strong organizational skills, time management, and collaborative skills and bring them into a completely new field. In addition to the skills listed above, my positions in retail & healthcare have provided me with the tools to really consider others in everything I do. I enjoy solving problems that other people find frustrating (whether they know why or not), and figuring out people's motivations.Within my time at Thinkful, I've gained proficiency with Figma, and have learned the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and Javascript. In addition, I've gained experience using tools like Slack, Notion, Trello, Miro, Maze, and some Google tools (slides, docs, forms). Most importantly, I got to learn and apply the design process.
