As an associate trainer at Panera, I train new employees in both the spirit and actions of Panera. In three years, as a working student, I've learned to internalize one of their core tennants: "Get the tough stuff done with optimism and mastery." I am cross-trained in every associate position, mastering both customer interaction and product quality.

As an assistant in Marinus Pilon's plant lab at CSU, I have worked on two projects: confirming plant lines for seed indexing and phenotyping a mutation in Arabidopsis. On the first project, I worked directly with Marinus Pilon, and on the latter, I work with graduate student Gretchen Kroh. A list of duties and skills includes: -PCR/gel electrophoresis analysis of mutants-Western Blot analysis of mutants exposed to low iron-tissue collection and handling-making MS media/sterile culture-maintaining wildtype and mutant Arabidopsis lines via seed collection

At JUR Press, I am the Director of Editor training and an Associate Editor. I have trained 15 new staff members in individual and group sessions. I have edited 3 articles for publication, refereed for 5, and looked at 10 others. I wrote an editorial that appeared in last year's volume.
