• Oversees Kentucky’s Nonpoint Source Program, including the Clean Water Act 319(h) Nonpoint Source Grant Program, education and outreach activities, and basin coordination efforts • Ensures compliance of all state and federal regulations for both staff activities and funded 319(h) projects• Directs implementation of and updates Kentucky’s Nonpoint Source Strategic Plan and associated goals, objectives, activities, and tasks• Serves as state contact for Nonpoint Source Pollution• Oversees 9 staff members and ensures work plans are up to date, goals are being met, and staff are well supported• Develops and evaluates reports, contracts, plans and associated assignments as required by the Clean Water Act and other regulatory and grant obligations

• Prepared and taught both labs and lectures, wrote and graded lab exams, managed Canvas Online Learning pages, coordinated field trips, provided support to students, and assisted the professors with course-related needs• Courses included Herpetology, Forest Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Wildlife Biology and Management• Created and taught a separate lecture on Wetland Restoration for the Freshwater Ecology course• Supervised and managed two field technicians

• Collection, entry, and analyses of physical, chemical, observational, and count data from a variety of taxa in various Kentucky ecosystems• Investigated the impacts of forest management on reptile and amphibian species, including wetland habitat suitability for amphibians • Managed and coordinated undergraduate field and lab work
