Within my time working for Gateshead council I have built up skills such as conflict management, discharging service users from hospitals and working in a multi-disciplinary team to identify long-term needs. Due to covid most assessments have been completed via telephone and virtually which has enhanced my verbal and non-verbal skills.

Within my time at PDYP I was a student social worker working alongside many professionals including health visitors, youth workers and many more. I worked in domestic abuse, child protection, challenging behaviour and drug and alcohol misuse support. This gave me assertive and professionalism skills, this also helped my confidence when working with.
