As the Climate Change Sea Grant Fellow, I supported OPC's climate change program focusing on sea level rise, ocean acidification, and other climate change related impacts.

I managed a NOAA Marine Debris Program funded community-based marine debris removal project on Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz Islands jointly run by CSU Channel Islands and Channel Islands National Park.

I was responsible for logistical and administrative tasks for programs housed under CSU Monterey Bay’s Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Program (CMEP). This included purchasing equipment, planning events and workshops, and providing logistical support for program participants. Programs supported: Monterey Bay Ocean Sciences Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, NOAA Center for Coastal Marine Ecosystems (CCME), Polar Interdisciplinary Coordinated Education (Polar-ICE), regional Sea Lion Bowl (part of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl), and Active Societal Participation in Research and Education (ASPIRE).

I earned a MS in Applied Marine and Watershed Science, emphasis in Marine Science. As a member of the Marine Landscape Ecology Lab, I studied the spatial and temporal trends of marine debris and microplastic abundance on the Northern Channel Islands (Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa Islands).
