I provide scientific and technical support for customers and carry out independent research based on customer requirements, daily laboratory management and advanced instruments maintenance. Analytical skills:- Expert in electron microscopy of soft material and biological samples (SEM, TEM, EDX, cryo-SEM/TEM and electron tomography) - Related sample preparation methods (critical point drying, negative staining, epoxy embedding, ultrathin sectioning, immunolabelling)- Data acquisition software (iTEM, Hitachi, JEOL, TVIPS, Bruker Quantax Esprit, INCA, Shotmeister, Recorder) and processing software (TEMographyTM Composer, Visualiser, Colorist) Networking and establishing of new collaborations on national and international level within academia and industry.

During my PhD, I worked on development of methods for surface modification of nanocellulose and its utilization in design of functional materials (electrically conductive, magnetic, omniphobic).Thesis title: Wood nanocellulose materials and effects from surface modification of nanoparticles.
