About Michaela Olson
I am passionate about using data to tell a story. My strong computational background allows me to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights, and I pride myself on my ability to communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences. Recently, I developed a Python-based app to visualize trip data from Bluebikes, Boston's bike share system. This project allowed me to expand my skills in data analysis and visualization, and it reflects my commitment to continuous learning (as well as my passion for urban cycling!).I am a lifelong learner and have furthered my education with online courses ranging from machine learning to immunology. In addition, I am an avid trumpet player and enjoy performing with my bands in the greater Boston area and beyond. For one of my bands, I am the logistics and operations manager, booking shows throughout the northeast.
Listed skills include Matlab, Leadership, Python, Html, and 14 others.
