Main projects this summer included fluid modeling of the Propulsion Research Facility LOx tank pressurization scheme using Generalized Fluid System Simulation Program (GFSSP). I also conducted bench-marking analysis of two Direct Simulation Monte Carlo tools: MONACO and DAC which will then be used in a rarefied gas modelling simulation for alternative Hall Thruster fuels. Lastly, I had the opportunity to co-lead a team of 17 interns for a concept design study called "Chasing Interstellar Objects" in which we designed a high level spacecraft system and Concept of Operations to rendezvous with a interstellar object and return a sample to Earth.
