Senior Rehabilitation Consultant at Generation Health.I graduated from Edith Cowan University in 2020 with a Bachelor is Science (Occupational Therapy) with a First Class Honours and was awarded Dux in the Occupational Therapy Honours Degree.In January 2020 I completed a 6-week placement at Perth Children’s Hospital in the Burns/Orthopaedics ward and in November 2020 I completed an 8 week soft tissue placement at West Coast Occupational Therapy. I completed an overseas placement in Muhumbili National Hospital, Tanzania (Dec 2019/Jan 2020), where I was based in the Rehabilitative medicine/ Neuro rehab department. This was a self-funded placement which I took the initiative to undertake myself given my interest in OT in developing countries and my passion for working with individuals with varying neurological conditions.Prior to beginning university in 2017, I was training for the Olympic games (RIO 2016) in Eventing (Equestrian). I returned from training in the U.S.A in September 2016, to begin uni and my career as an OT in Jan 2017. Two of the highlights of my eventing career include finishing 5th at Adelaide International 3DE CCI4* - Australia's largest event, and finishing 1st at Wooroloo International 3DE CCI3* - W.A's largest event.
