CurrentPreviously worked from May 2024 to August 2024 with PPB staff in Pujehun, Sierra Leone. Daily responsibilities included clinics to medically treat and provide malnourished children with therapeutic supplemental sachets in addition to various powdered foods in conjunction with study protocols. Collected urine and stool samples and worked closely with project coordinator to improve efficiency and precision of the study via schedules, overseeing cryovial collection, and introducing new procedures.Currently, continuing to work with Project Peanut Butter remotely as we finalize study procedures and begin manuscript preparation.Overall, Project Peanut Butter (PPB) seeks to advance the treatment of severe malnutrition, the single largest cause of child death in the world today, using effective, locally produced ready-to-use therapeutic foods. This nonprofit is formed to provide needed nutritional and medical support primarily to children suffering from severe acute malnutrition in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond
