My name is Michaela Springer. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, double-majoring in Law, Criminal Justice, and Society, and Media and Professional Communications with a minor in Political Science. Here at Pitt, I serve as the Case Manager for Students Conquering Cold Cases, a club that partners with the Allegheny County District Attorney dedicated to solving local cold cases. (https://studentsconqueringcoldcases.org/) During club meetings, I read case files, take meeting notes, discuss potential leads, and facilitate all aspects of case management. I have intern experience at Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff, and Stern LLP as well as with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Child Abuse Unit. My intern duties include(d) reviewing case files, organizing and digitizing files, and sitting in on meetings/trials. In my free time, I practice yoga and train to become a certified yoga instructor.
