I am a full-time college student at the University of North Texas. I graduated with my B.S in criminal justice in December 2020 and am currently working on my MBA in Business Management graduating in May 2022. I have developed personal responsibility and time management skills from juggling school and work. I have learned a few other skills in some software programs such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint through this time. I managed a car wash as my first job, started out as an entry-level employee, and worked myself up. I did so by showing my leadership skills as well as my ability to solve problems, whether it be with customers or equipment. I have also worked in a couple of office positions, one dealing with data entry and A/P and the other being a receptionist handling client needs and facility correspondence. I have worked in retail as an assistant manager and have become familiar with inventory, task delegation, operational procedures, etc. I have also volunteered since I was young at the Keep Odessa Beautiful foundation every year, going out and cleaning up the highways. Volunteering for my community helped me see and experience people and places in my town that I want to improve or make better.My current skills are customer relations, data entry, scheduling, time management, filing documents, as well as many other things. I have worked in many different areas, doing a number of various tasks. This allowed me to gain some important transferable skills. I am driven and willing to learn. I can take a job that I have not done before and find a way to get it done correctly, whether that be by asking questions or breaking it down to understand the key components of the task. I am driven to make myself valuable for a company.I am looking for a full-time position working for a company that values me as an employee, has a good working environment, and work-life balance. Also, giving me opportunities to engage in personal and career development.
