Implement, in collaboration with country Retail leadership team, the strategic direction of the Retail Business.

• Working with Directors and wider business development team to develop strategies and promotional events to maximise the organisation’s professional intermediary network, so as to generate new business opportunities • Responsible for the successful delivery of all corporate events, including: - Agreeing specific requirements and expectations concerning the event with directors and business development team - Overseeing the plan of action to ensure that the cost of the event remains under the pre-determined budget- Searching and negotiating suitable venues or locations as per the pre agreed event requirements and budgetary constraints - Determining a suitable layout and theme for events- Facilitated communication with professionals, including venue management, caterers, contractors and equipment rentals to ensure efficient running of an event.• On-going management and oversight of a bespoke CRM system, including providing detailed activity reports on business development activity to senior management • Using internal and external reports, data and research findings to help shape the event programme and wider business development activity • Playing a key influencing role with regards to business development issues and projects generally, and executing those projects and new ideas specifically. • Providing focus to the delivery, and direction of business development activities.
