My professional summary is centred on my passion for sports and the many things that drive me to be the person I am today.My sporting journey started when I was three years old; before I can even remember, I have always been driven to play sports. My mom was always a big part of my love for sports; I grew up watching my mom play softball and wanting to grow up and be just like her. I wanted to love a game so much that I chose to play that game for the rest of my life. Because my mom encouraged me to be athletic and pursue my goals in sports, I was fortunate enough to be able to play on 13 different sports teams. All of this gave me the passion for continuing to play sports and give back to athletes by being a fair and hardworking coach.The impact that I have on the people around me that I coach is both Inspirational and motivational. I push the girls I coach to be strong and confident when playing softball and in their everyday life. One of my favourite things to tell the girls I coach is that confidence comesfrom preparation, and the harder we work at practice, the more confident we will be on the field. Quotes like these make dedicated softball players and girls that love the sport that has given me so many opportunities.My goals for the future are to continue empowering women in sports and to inspire the girls who are just starting to play softball by being a good coach and mentor. Someday I would liketo begin my dry-land strength and condition gym for all types of athletes; this will allow athletes to work with coaches who excel in their sport and are used to participating in an elite athlete lifestyle.I am actively looking for opportunities in the sports field where I can work with athletes and their development in sports, whether that is sports mental mindsets or strength training to get stronger for their sport.
