I am responsible for providing superior customer service and driving sales and margin in alignment with the financial plan of the store. My primary responsibilities include controlling and monitoring overall store expenses, and ensuring that all corporate financial and merchandising standards are maintained. As ASM I also oversee a variety of store specific programs including installed sales, delivery, receiving, and other specialty sales programs. I have additional responsibilities which include overseeing the overall safety, security, supervision, training, mentoring, and scheduling of all assigned personnel. I am currently a mentor for a new Assistant Store Manager at my location.

I provided constant child care for a newborn and care and education for a 3 year old. I provided care for 2 years for the family and left voluntarily to pursue my career at Lowe's.

As an assistance store manager I was entrusted with opening and closing the store. I was responsible for providing high quality customer service, and driving sales and margin in alignment with company guidelines. I merchandised, investigated shrink, and helped to train and provide superior customer service. I took part in administrative functions such as scheduling, money handling, deposits and ordering, and freight distribution.

I was in charge of opening and closing, and hiring. I executed floor sets and took inventory of store products. I also assisted in the training of all sales associates in proper selling procedures and up selling techniques.
