Current role consists of:POMS IntegrationsMonitoring of cash sale accounts including allocating cash and liaising with the relevant departmentsAssist with credit controlAssist with new account opening and credit limit monitoringPosting of the bank statement transactions.Allocating all Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger payments against the relevant transactions.Completing weekly / monthly payment runs including sending remittances to suppliers.Dealing with all personal expenses business wideDealing with all credit cards, including collating information, posting, and allocating in the accounting systemPetty Cash, issuing petty cash & monthly reconciliationCash Book maintenance and reconciliation

Main tasks within this role:UK and Distributors and US companies are: Running daily bank statementsPosting cash from these bank accounts (and sometimes cheques) to the relevant customer accountsEnsuring funds are allocated correctly and chasing up any remittances neededContacting customers for payment within their agreed termsChasing up any overdues and sending out payment remindersDealing with issues such as pricing queries, missing goods, PODs, salary invoices, etc with our warehouses, couriers, account managers, buyers and Purchase Ledger teamSending out invoices for approval internally to the relevant department headsAssessing and opening new accounts, monitoring and approving credit limitsReviewing order books against credit limits and implementing payment plans where needed, reviewing the payments against these and ensuring they are adhered toOrder book managementSending statements outReconciling accountsFollowing up on debit note issuesIssuing payment links for card paymentsUsing customer online portals to manage their accountsReconciling and monitoring the Barbour retail stores, dealing with any cash/till discrepancies and monitoring petty cash, ensuring the recipts are coded correctlyReconciling E Comms accounts, using the two payment platforms we have for it and rectifying any issues with IT failings
