First point of contact at information desk of the holiday park. I provide information about activities, accommodation and dining out in the local area.Check in/-out of customers to the park. Processing phone, online and face to face bookings.Liaising with other local businesses to find appropriate accommodation and selling of activities.Sales and marketing: I encourage guests to make the best of their stay in the Mt. Cook area by advising them to join guided tours, taking helicopter flights and explore the glaciers of the Tasman Valley working directly with the company providing the tours.Handling card and cash payments including daily cash up.Additionally, I will help clean the units and camp area at busy times.Retail is also part of the role when covering our sales assistant at the Merino & Glentanner Souvenir Shop.The role involves close interaction with the company Heliline who provide scenic helicopter flights as well as running a cafe in the same building.
