Financial Specialist
Current- Maintenance, audit, review, and reconciliation of financial records to ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles and standard Maintains fiscal records by reviewing purchase requisitions, Vouchers, receipts.
- Responsible to keep the Department’s general ledger in line which includes monitoring operating transfers, responding immediately to entry correcting’s, and to validate the proper accounting treatments of the general.
- Obtain requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders; verifies receipt of items; authorizing payments.
- Monitor Division annual operating and capital budgets for publications, hunter’s education, conservation education, Information Center, and outreach efforts.
- Responsible for coordinating Division contracts, purchase justifications, request for proposals, invitations to bid, purchase orders, reconciliation of budget, and expense reports.
- Developed and cultivated relationships across all areas and levels of the Departments utilizing tailored communications to obtain information’s for the Chief of the Department
