Growing up following my favorite sports teams like the Knicks and Yankees, I always enjoyed checking the box scores after the game. Considering the fact that my teams were not typically successful on the team level, I was drawn to specific player stats and averages, which over time resulted in me doing math for fun (subconsciously of course). Numbers are something that I am much more comfortable with than words, which is why I took an interest in accounting in highschool and have further pursued my accounting education in college.
