Hands on, in the trenches consultant working with small to medium sized business owners, contractors, developers and commercial property owners managing projects, assisting with business expansion, turnaround of unprofitable operations, strategic planning, team building, human resources, customer and key business relationships, marketing/company image, tax strategy, succession planning, management coaching, finance and business start up.BUSINESS EXPANSION - Increased gross sales from $3M to $19.8M in 24 month period and improved profit retention by 3% transforming business into a legitimate competitor in its market place.HUMAN RESOURCES - Forecasting workforce requirements and re-distribution of manpower and converting disinterested and average performing employees and managers into top performers that consistently produce winning results.PROCESS IMPROVEMENT - Developed strategic initiative solutions in areas of organization, leadership, business planning and finance, and trained the management team to maintain a cost-consciousness, market-driven, and results-oriented atmosphere characterized by innovation, customer focus, continuous improvement, and competitive orientation.PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Negotiated multi-million dollar land purchases, construction contracts and successfully managed more than 40 construction projects with a combined value in excess of $70M.

Full P&L responsibility with 22 direct reports and a budget of $60M annually. .TURNAROUND MANAGEMENT - Re-organized group reporting structure, outsourced transportation services group by establishing a collaborative courier network with a competing bank. Consolidated 9 processing sites from a six state region into 4 sites within a 4 state region. Reduced distribution center staffing by approximately 20%.PROCESS IMPROVEMENT - Significantly improved revenue by $8.5M by using analytical techniques such as flow charts, surveys, process mapping, time-motion studies, root cause analysis to eliminate duplication, facilitate workflow, and assure optimum utilization of staff equipment.

ASSOCIATION FOR PORTLAND PROGRESS (APP) participated in the creation of Downtown Portland's "Central City Transportation Management Plan".CLEAN AIR BUSINESS ALLIANCE (CABA) Implemented a "private sector air quality program" and acted as Chairman of the Sub-Committee for Alternative Fuels.OREGON OXYGENATED GASOLINE ADVISORY COMMITTEENATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FLEET ADMINISTRATORS (NAFA) Board member and Chairman of Membership Committee.
