Michael Fried is the President of both Aftermath Consulting Group, an expert witness and dispute resolution firm & Partner/VP of Strategic Claim Consulting., a licensed and appointed insurance claim consulting firm. Headquarters are based in Atlanta, Georgia and Michael is the managing Director of the Gulf Coast Regions, based in Austin, Texas. Michael has extensive experience as an independent executive general insurance adjuster, is currently an active multi-National public insurance adjuster, and was a former project manager to one of the largest fire and water restoration companies in the United States. Michael carries his OSHA 10 certification, multiple IICRC certifications for both water (WRT/ASD) and fire damage restoration (FSRT), Flood Insurance Adjuster certification (2005) and is a member of the IICRC Clean Trust. Michael also proudly serves as an officer (incoming VP) of TAPIA and board of directors for NAPIA.Michael has been published in many trade publications including Claims Journal, Facilities Manager Magazine and several other trade specific entities. Michael has created and presented continuing education courses from “How to incorporate OSHA into estimating” to “Managing Fire and Water daily claims”. Michael’s extensive experience includes adjusting and appraising P&C claims privately and publicly in every major catastrophe of the last 2 decades, including several Tornados throughout the country, Wild Fire services nationwide, as well as 17 Hurricanes from Pre-Katrina to Hurricane Hanna. Michael has also worked as a Team Leader for PASCO Claims Services and Commercial Claims Independent Adjuster for Travelers Indemnity Co. Michael has adjusted and/or appraised over 5000 property and casualty claims, including municipal, industrial, medical facility, General commercial, multi-family and residential, in the last 2 decades.
