I've spent the last 2 years designing, building, and managing a recording studio/post-production facility from the ground up. Responsibilities have included finding talent, contract negotiation, audio engineering, mixing, mastering, construction, electrical wiring, equipment repair, scheduling, accounting, artist management, inventory management, production, and sales.

Started as a Desktop Support and Help Desk Support Technician, quickly promoted to System Administrator, and then promoted again to Microsoft Applications Developer. Responsibilities included communicating directly with end users to identify, resolve, and document hardware & software issues. Managing Footprints web based ticketing platform. Performing server maintenance, custom code updates, database table queries for external systems, reporting, site code development, and project management/change control workflows. Building an HR web application and database structure using MVC framework and SQL Databases with jQuery & Bootstrap front-end. Rebuilding desktops and servers from the ground up ensuring hardware compatibility, configuration and design best practices. Taking part in project planning and management meetings and developing workflow and policy documentation. Developing end-user training guides and documentation and teaching weekly classes on IT basics to new hires. Providing telephone and remote support to end users in retail stores across the US and Canada. Managing user accounts in an Active Directory environment utilizing group policy and multiple domains.
