Michael is a highly skilled and accomplished IT Director. His responsibilities and expertise includes applications development, applications monitoring, data center operations, IT and storage infrastructure, enterprise modernization, network backbone, and management of major projects. His accomplishments are many and include design of multi-year data centers, new servers and storage platforms, disaster recovery upgrades, deployment of software and hard ware, VMware, Symantec Enterprise Vault System, and other projects to reduce costs, improve performance and ensure system reliability. Michael’s success begins with changing the paradigm of IT from a cost center to a value-added group. This approach aligns IT functions with broader strategic objectives and the needs of business units. It’s a collaborative partnership building consensus and support for positive change and shared goals using cross-functional communication. He builds an operational infrastructure with the talent, technology and resources needed to deliver on commitments. His organization is flexible and self-sustaining, and adapts quickly to the changing needs of the organization. While building his leadership skills, Michael retained a strong technical acumen in order to provide guidance to project teams.
