While managing the maX Engineering teams through a period of aggressive growth, I collaborated across the business to deliver initiatives that were key to expanding our offering. I helped build and maintain a culture of engineering excellence, cultural safety and collaboration, within which teams could work effectively to continuously deliver value to customers and thereby optimise business impact.

Responsible for leading the maX (web and native) Digital Product teams at Reece, ensuring that we work together effectively to craft superior experiences for our customer and deliver on aggressive growth targets for the business. Helping to coordinate technical integration between Reece and Morsco (~$1.9B US company investment), performing technical due diligence on startup investments, and facilitating organisational/architectural change.

Responsible for growing and managing the maX online team as we modernize our architecture, streamline our development practices, and continue to extend our market dominance by delivering a world-class online experience for our trade account holders. Initially included coordinating work across geographical boundaries and timelines, then managing the transition process as we moved to a fully co-located operating model. A major achievement in this phase was the delivery of a brand new and greatly improved search experience across the entire portfolio of Reece sites.

As one of ANZ’s CSP (Common Services Platform) development teams, we successfully delivered a greenfield frontend app SOLA (Savings Online Application) along with new and enhanced core API’s to support it. A first of its kind at ANZ, this project enabled customers to originate their own savings and deposit accounts with fully automated straight-through processing. Simultaneously, I helped lead the ANZ Design System (component library) initiative which created efficiencies across multiple teams by creating truly reusable, shared frontend components for use across all ANZ projects.
