• Management of the full Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, including:liaising with business users to gather and prioritise requirements, administering and enhancing the data warehouse, developing and performance tuning the ETL process, enhancing and optimizing the cubes including the use of complex MDX, coordinating change releases, developing reports and dashboards, administrating BI presentation tools, and supporting the business users• Piloting PowerPivot for Excel 2010 with key business users; providing department specific PowerPivot workbook templates, user training, and support• Automating high profile business processes to improve the productivity and efficiency of the business• Performing data cleansing and reconciliation activities• Delivering, enhancing, and supporting an Operational Data Store (ODS), used by the marketing department to perform part of their daily activities• Integrating Dynamics NAV and CRM using a combination of Scribe Insight and SSIS• Deploying, and managing, multiple instances of Dynamics CRM for development and testing purposes using Hyper-V (Virtualization) in Windows Server 2008 R2• Administering, customizing, extending, supporting, and migrating Dynamics CRM• Administering, developing, performance tuning, and providing support for SSRS• Performing database administration tasks such as managing user logins and permissions, backing up and restoring databases, performance tuning slow running queries and stored procedures, data migrations, and managing SQL agent jobs• Writing complex T-SQL queries on an ad-hoc basis to satisfy urgent reporting/analysis requirements from business users• Analysing data discrepancies, identifying root causes, and advising on resolutions• Delivering end-to-end software solutions using the .NET Framework and T-SQL• Providing 2nd line support to the business both inside and outside of business hours
