Led one of the largest civil engineer squadrons (Facility/Infrastructure Management) in the Air Force with 800+ military and civilian engineers to deliver real property maintenance, repair, and construction to the Air Force's largest combat Wing. Supported airfield operations for 102 assigned F-15C, KC-135, E-3, HH-60, MC-130 and numerous combined or transient aircraft.

Transit Center At Manas, Kyrgyzstan (Deployed)

Led a 249 person facilities management organization at a deployed overseas location. Negotiated and built partnerships with foreign government and business representatives to obtain contract/logistics support. Oversaw two contingency augmentation contracts valued at $32 million that provided support for 10 Air Force units and 237 facilities, 140,000 transient deployed troops and 100 milion lbs of fuel through Manas airport (primary trans hub for Afghanistan).

Installations & Mission Support Directorate, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Hi

Supervised a staff of 8 employees to manage housing, dormitory, and contingency engineer programs for Pacific air bases. Directed the program for the $1 billion capital improvement, minor improvement, and operations and maintenance programs for 20K housing assets and 14K dormitories across pacific air bases.

Gulf Region Division, Multi-National Force - Iraq, Baghdad, Iraq

Supervised 90 military and US/Iraqi civilians in a combat zone on a diverse $1.4 billion reconstruction program for health, education, and security facilities for the Multi-National Force-Iraq. Built partnerships with Iraqi engineers and government officials. Tackled security, quality control, political pressure, and media issues. Despite attacks and high threat environment, managed execution of 397 projects valued at $760 million throughout Iraq to rebuild infrastructure and restore essential facilities.

I served as a Construction Engineer Country Officer supporting US Embassy Defense Military Cooperation offices. I directed the construction and engineering efforts to support counterterrorism exercises in South America. I planned multiple exercise related and humanitarian civic assistance engineering projects developing project schedules, logistics movements, and cost estimates and recommended construction procedures and rules of engagement for operations in austere environments.

I led a team of engineers to program, develop, and execute environmental remediation and restoration projects for overseas military bases. Developed, prepared, and executed $33 million worth of restoration projects at four highly visible locations.

I directed 14 quality assurance evaluators responsible for inspecting 560 contract civilian personnel as part of the $40 million Turkey Base Maintenance (RE/FM/Corporate Services) Contract.
