I am an experience creator. Music composition, production and immersive art experiences are where I began - creating audio for interactive experiences for McDonald's, FOX, HBO, Wrigley, Microsoft, Coors, Lionsgate - one of my installation works entitled "The War Story" exhibited in Canada's National War Museum. Composing and producing music, sound design, and VO for a variety of projects working with Video, 3D Modelers, MoCap, Animators, Designers, and Programmers has given me deep experience in what tools and people I need to create complex experiences. I offer marketing campaign concepts, positioning and strategy as a consultant through my Canadian corp Zero Infinity Inc. I'm also available for audio production including concepts, music composition, sound design, script and VO casting, direction, audio mixing and mastering. In 2011 I opened a bar/venue, creating social "immersive" experiences highlighting vibe incorporating interior design, music, staff, drinks, food and a constantly revolving variety of entertainment. We packed a 2-level house continuously from year 2. As the owner you wear every hat at first, marketing being the most important followed by product (= in this case: vibe including everything above). Marketing being my background and passion, my strategy involved giving the most, diverse, cross-section of locals, the most, individual, reasons to come. That meant always targeting interest groups with their desired hook, and branding to everyone. Our menu was 100% gluten-free, we had options for every dietary restriction except nuts, and 60% of our customers were just regular people with no dietary restrictions who loved our food because it was so good. And, in groups (in Ottawa) you always have at least one person with some kind of dietary preference. A $50K investment generated around $650K per year, a machine running itself. Thankfully we served the Misfits band before the landlord's roofers accidentally burned the whole block down 4 years later. I then (2016) embraced my passion to create the immersive digital entertainment I've envisioned for decades. Discovering the MS Hololens early in 2016 I was inspired beyond sense. "Holographic Telepresence" was part of my vision, and in 2021 we realized Telepresence on $380 AR glasses. I understood this to be the inevitable evolution of Telecoms. I'm an artist. I create. I love efficiency. I love inspiring staff to be better than they ever thought they could be by their own motivations. My motto is to create a better world.
