Learned more about the banking end of mortgages then any other company. Built a greater understanding of the secondary market. Implemented the Vanguard CRM system. This system was collaborated with their existing loan software Encompass 360 Banker. When USED, this system is created to extract analytical data and check true loan officer, and marketing campaigns ROI. Was 1 of the top originator's for the company during my time there. Best months were 09/11 did close to 2 million in volume and 10/11 where I closed close to 3 million in loans. By far the best education in that short a period of time. They closed my loans fast, and the President/CEO was very kind when it came to my bonuses. Resign due to the fact that, I feel as if I understand the industry very well. just as well as an owner if not better. Since coming back in 2010 I see major differences across the board in our industry. I would like to pursue running a branch and using my creativity, work ethic, and knowledge to help train and build a company with young influential loan officers. All said, I wouldn't change a thing. Learned abouth the NMLS system and passed close to 10 tests while being there. Very naive to the SRP and banking end of mortgages. Was a professional and well run platform. Great managers like John Waz, Eric Busutil helped bridge the gap between the banking end oppose to the broker end Guaranteed had instilled in me. Resigned because the company was made to make the owners money, and not the loan officer. That was my experience. This was also the 1st loan officer position I had in close to 9 yrs.
