Assist with policy development, training and compliance at Department of Health, WIC.

Assist the dietetics services in diet management, food service, and other tasks assigned.

Assist with nutrition education, client assessments, and community outreach.

Conducts student recruiting, cadet training, administration, coaching, and commissioning the future officer leadership of the Army at three regional school locations including Siena college, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and the State University of New York at Albany. Teaches Military Science and Leadership courses at State University of New York at Albany. Trains cadets at Leadership Assessment Course located at Fort Lewis Washington during the summer.

Oversaw all military personnel matters for Third U.S. Army staff and Army units within the U.S. Central Command's Area of Responsibility. Planned, coordinated, developed and executed officer and enlisted strength management, personnel actions, promotions, military peacetime and wartime awards and decorations, officer and enlisted evaluations, and congressional inquiries for the headquarters and forward deployed commands to include those in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Managed Third Army personnel positions in Iraq.

Coordinated and supervised all actions for seven divisions, 221 personnel, 40 individual augmentees, 11 civilian employees as well as contractors. Managed a budget of $2.1 million in mission funding. Served as the focal point for all personnel actions and support requirements. Coordinated personnel replacement operations with the Chief, Personnel Operations (C1). Oversaw and coordinated all incoming and outgoing staff actions and provided quality control to ensure all staff suspenses were met. Coordinated and integrated actions with US Central Command staff counterparts, reserve units affiliated with 3rd Army, Department of the Army Headquarters and other Army Major Commands, Forces Command, reserve and national guard Adjutants, reserve headquarters, civilian agencies and liaison officers within the area of responsibility. Coordinated itineraries and made travel arrangements for the chief, Operations in the US and deployed locations in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Horn of Africa and other areas requiring Third Army action.

The New York City Recruiting Battalion is the largest in the brigade and consists of seven companies and over 300 soldiers and civilians. Supported assigned personnel in the functions of in and out processing, awards, evaluations, promotions, leave management, temporary duty, reassignments, sponsorship (on-boarding), strength management, personnel actions, pay inquiries, and the management of four databases (SIDPERS/ARADS/CIMS/PERSTEMPO). Assisted the commander and executive officer with all matters relating to protocol and ceremonies. Performed additional duties to include safety officer, Drug and Alcohol Prevention Officer, Privacy Act Coordinator, Official Mail Control and Personnel Security Officer. Managed the commander's legal investigation files. Performed semi-annual inspections for 42 separate recruiting stations and company headquarters spread out across the five boroughs of New York City, Westchester and Rockland counties, and east New Jersey. Supervised 3 non-commissioned officers and one civilian.

Commanded a geographically isolated personnel detachment with three separate locations performing functions to include ID Card processing, evaluations processing, awards processing, Standard Installation Division Personnel Reporting System (the Army’s personnel information management system) management, life insurance maintenance, emergency and casualty assistance. Provided the personnel support to deploy the 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division stationed in Grafenwoehr, Germany. I was responsible for the care and training for over 30 personnel including 5 civilians in three locations. I was also responsible for wartime and installation property worth over 1 million dollars.

Planned personnel support for the Army’s only forward deployed Corps of two divisions, a Corps Support Command and nine Corps separate brigades consisting over 43,000 assigned personnel. Responsible for personnel policy and plans in support of warfighting and regional stability operations. Conducts direct coordination with 1st Personnel Command and 266th Finance Command for input to V Corps plans, orders and standard operating procedures (SOP). Has staff oversight over the Chaplain and safety sections. Coordinates with Corps special staff and sections with the G1 (Personnel) and AG (Adjutant General) for operations plans, operations orders and SOP development. Serves as a member on the Corps battle staff. Writes, revises and reviews personnel annexes to V Corps SOPs, regulations, operations plans, operations orders and exercise directives. Serves as the Joint Manning document custodian. Provides personnel guidance and interpretation to the Corps AG staff and supported major subordinate commands. Develops personnel policy guidance for the Corps. Tracks unit movements.
