Professional Speaker: Keynotes - Resilience, Change, Leadership, Overcoming Adversity, Risk
CurrentAs a speaker, first and foremost, I listen. I take great care in interpreting client requirements. I then shape bespoke presentations around my specialist topics from resilience, leadership and change to teamwork, risk and diversity ~ I made history by becoming the first disabled person to successfully lead expeditions to both the North (April '02) & South Poles (Jan 2004). Presentations are always crafted with desired outcomes forefront of mind. Key business messages can be reinforced and talks are often laced with anecdotes and insights from both my polar achievements but also life experiences. These include designing relevant audience interactions to help embed key learnings.I want to find out about your business, your challenges, your successes. I'm someone that's curious. A detailed speaker questionnaire gives a robust briefing framework, underpinning my research and meticulous preparation, a key point of difference that I know my clients value greatly.I pride myself on the bespoke approach I offer. I work diligently to create tailored presentations that resonate. I like to work closely with my clients. I ask lost of questions. Keynote topics are 'subject guides' rather than off the shelf talks. I like to think of myself as a versatile speaker. Keynotes can last from 1-1.5hrs and if you've only got .30 mins in your schedule, that's absolutely fine.In 1984, I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy (MD). My polar adventures have served as a launch pad for The Muscle Help Foundation, a multi-award winning charity that's become my life's mission. Leadership, courage & trust combined with resolute self-belief, confidence, teamwork and a singular focus towards achieving desired outcomes were critical success factors, all relevant in today's fast paced business world.Looking for an authentic keynote speaker?
