- As a Lead for a NAB fast payments asset, Michael was responsible for the creation of CI/CD orchestration, as well as establishing the infrastructure in AWS to host its many microservices and critical data- As well as constantly improving and adding to these pipelines, Michael's focus is on resilience, reducing costs and eliminating downtime in the Production environment for deployments and periodic patching Changes- Michael's responsibilities include enabling Multi-Cloud Treatment for TLM; proving that TLM could be failed over from AWS to Azure and run successfully, if ever required- Michael has developed strong relationships with all stakeholder groups; developers, QAs, Production Support, supporting Enterprise assets such as Kafka and MQ, as well as upstream and downstream assets- Michael is focused on security, which is always a critical factor in large enterprises like NAB; from enabling encryption everywhere, to applying application vulnerability patchesMichael is currently mentoring 3 other team members, coaching them on NAB and TLM's cloud principles and practices

• Oversaw a large Melbourne, Brisbane and Shenzhen China-based team, responsible for 24x7 support of WebSphere & Tivoli environments for Telstra, Myer, Victoria Police and BHP• Instigated and provided guidance for many scripting and automation initiatives to reduce the number of support calls required for regular events (eg. deployments, restarts)

Southbank

• Provided 24x7 production support for Telstra’s Customer Accounts and Billing systems for their mobile phone network

• Provided E2E solution architecture designs and recommendations to the customer. The largest was Mobile Number Portability, a government-mandated initiative, to allow porting of mobile phone numbers between service providers. It was delivered successfully, and well before the require go-live date• Collaborated with stakeholders to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes
