• Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor to develop custom architectural products including railings, wall panels, ceiling panels, portal surrounds, arbor structures, decorative pipe rail systems, and other ornamental metal assemblies for various clients primarily in Pennsylvania (SEPTA, The American Bible Society, & Grandview Hospital) and in Washington D.C. / Virginia (The Milken Institute (MCAAD), The Yards (Parcel G), Halley Rise, & The Institute for Defense Analyses).• Review contract documents (and all revisions / addendums) to Architectural drawings and Specifications. Review pricing with management and issue / track Change Order Requests and Change Orders as needed.• Prepare submittal, installation, and fabrication drawing sets for in-house and out-sourced manufacturing – including special coordination as needed for brake-forming and automated plasma cutting processes. Provide G-code files and nesting reports for releases to Piranha CNC Plasma Cutter using Hypertherm ProNest software. Work along-side shop foreman and office management to ensure fabrication drawings are properly reviewed and released to CDM’s union iron shop.• Coordinate with third-party structural engineer to ensure designs meet all loading requirements as specified by Architect / G.C. / Engineer of Record. Submit engineer’s stamped drawings and calculations to G.C. as needed.• Takeoff and order materials, hardware, chemicals, etc. for assigned projects. Arrange for outsourced polishing and coatings as needed (grain requirements, galvanizing, custom paint, powder-coatings, fluoropolymer finishes, etc.).

• Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor to develop architectural products, custom storefronts, cladding, stair rails, cane rails, and other ornamental metal products for various NYC clients, including The High Line, MoMA, Chanel, One57, 712 5th Avenue, and 74 Trinity Place, as well as Encore Boston Harbor Casino. • Prepare submittal drawing sets and fabrication drawings for in-house and out-sourced manufacturing.• Design components for Bronson Meadows, a private residence in Fairfield, Connecticut, including greenhouse conservatory with operable doors and windows containing custom locking mechanisms.• Assist MCS’ Rampart Façade Systems division to develop custom unitized curtain wall, window wall, clerestory units, and other custom metal elements for Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, NJ), Jefferson Washington Township Hospital Expansion Project (Washington Township, NJ), Google (111 8th Avenue, NYC), and Empire State Building (NYC). • Work alongside design management and manufacturing personnel to create and implement revised operating procedures to optimize performance of in-house fabrication.• Train with National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) approved Heat Transfer Modeling Software THERM and WINDOW with M Cohen & Sons’ Engineering Manager, Noelle Kent.

• Finalize technical design of furniture products (including custom cabinetry, conference tables, reception desks, millwork, etc.) using Cabinet Vision. • Create technical drawings for internal review, client approval, manufacturing intent, and installation purposes. • Generate Material Takeoff for each job and produce appropriate machining files for Holzher and Anderson Router Tables, Holzher Beam Saw, Biesse Doweling Machine, and Holzher Edgebander.• Work in tandem with Sales and Design departments to create library of Standard Parts within Cabinet Vision to streamline the design process and optimize manufacturing that pairs with ERP system to ensure maximum efficiency through all departments - from initial sale through delivery.
