I am a senior at DePaul University majoring in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Public Law and Political Thought. I have interests in all different kinds of public relations, advertising, campaign creation, and legal opportunities. I was born and raised in from Baltimore, Maryland, but now reside in Chicago, as a full-time college student. For my professional experiences, I have completed an internship with the State's Attorney's Office of Cook County for their clerkship program in the civil actions bureau during the summer of 2023. Also, an Internship at Johns Hopkins during the summer of 2020. These were some of the most pleasant and useful experiences I’ve had in the work industry. I learned so much about the importance of networking, relationships, professionalism, and learning from experts.I also have a very extensive creative background and side to me. I’ve worked on various photo projects inside and outside of a school setting, as a previous Journalism and Photography major. I have also completed various articles for my journalism and writing classes at DePaul which turned out very successful (Unpublished.) I also attended The Baltimore School for the Arts, a performing arts high school for all 4 years as an acting concentration. We did various shows and projects, including performing and writing scenes. While I learned how to perform, I also leaned many skills that I still utilize to this day. I am very confident in everything I do. I never have any issues reaching out for anything, whether that be putting myself out there, asking for help, public speaking, which I also learned through my Public Speaking class, CMN104, at DePaul, and carrying myself with pride and confidence. I believe this is a key factor in the professional world with any profession I might take on.Throughout high school and college, I’ve worked many part time jobs within the food and service industry. This has allowed me to develop fantastic people, conversation, and customer service skills. It has taught me to think on my feet, quickly and without hesitation, and to approach situations very logically and rationally; no issue is too much for me to handle. Looking forward to connecting with others and building a community online and hopefully in person as well!
