Dynamic nonprofit organization providing exemplary career, youth development, advocacy, residential, healthcare, wellness and abuse prevention services for youth and adults with disabilities.Major accomplishments:• Dramatically expanded Triangle’s continuum of services and launched nationally-recognized initiatives• Led the organization from the brink of bankruptcy to strong and sustainable financial health• Established a change in culture, creating a person-centered, entrepreneurial, innovative, outcomes-based environment• Significantly expanded centers of operation (from 4 to 14), number of individuals served annually (from 285 to over 4,000) and geographic reach (from 35 to 140 communities served)• Transformed Massachusetts’ largest sheltered workshop to the state leader in community based employment, placing 182 individuals in competitive employment in 2015• Completed mergers with three nonprofits to magnify mission impact, diversify services for constituents, significantly expand Triangle’s service area, and strengthen employment and training opportunities• Divested services and activities no longer effective or economically feasible while successfully supporting participants and staff through these transitions• Grew total annual revenue from $5 million to over $15 million; grew annual fundraising revenue from less than $200,000 to more than $1.8 million• Co-created Ablevision, an internationally syndicated newsmagazine television program produced entirely by people with disabilities• Oversaw the international Accessible Icon Project, changing public perception of people with disabilities worldwide• Strengthened Triangle’s Board of Directors by engaging and recruiting leaders and decision makers across a broad spectrum of sectors• Led multiple strategic planning processes• Recruited, developed and nurtured leaders• Consistently fostered visibility, accessibility and emotional connection with participants, staff and other constituents
