I currently supervise a team of data analysts who perform daily cycle counts on the manufacturing floor and its associated controlled storage locations. We then perform root-cause analysis and reconciliation on any variances found during our cycle count. We use SQL and Python to navigate databases and analyze inventory transactions to determine the cause of any variances. We regularly present to manufacturing and materials leadership on their inventory accuracy, and we use the data we compile on variances and reconciliation to drive process improvement.

I started as a Material Handler in January of 2017. I was promoted to Material Control Specialist at the end of 2018, and to a Material Handling Supervisor at the end of 2020 where I was in charge of a team of material handlers.

I worked a second job on the RTS crew where we assisted reprocessing packages that couldn’t be delivered earlier in the day. We prepared the floor for the Sort Crew and unloaded pallets off of trucks as they came in. If we had time, we would start down-stacking pallets and pre-sorting to give the next shift a head start.
