I am an experienced biologist with a background in experimental research design, execution, and analysis including sample collection and sample handling. As a Project Scientist, I conduct field sampling activities designed to monitor and ensure the continued effectiveness of implemented environmental remedial activities for federal, state, and private sector clients. I am currently responsible for the implementation of the Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) Plan and System Performance Monitoring (SPM) Plan of water treatment systems at Joint Base Cape Cod. The program provides environmental services such as groundwater network sampling and monitoring of wells located on JBCC including multiple residential off-site locations. These services also include surface water, landfill gas, water level, and implementation and oversight of monitoring, injection, and extraction well installations and development. Additional activities include groundwater sampling for PFAS analytes and Multi-Incremental Soil Sampling (MIS) to characterize levels of contamination at multiple former Small Arms Ranges. I am also responsible for the event management, data entry, quality control, and laboratory co-ordination which support the report writing process. I continuously supervise multiple on-site sub contactors and field support staff to optimize performance to ensure quality standards and anticipated deadlines are met or exceeded. As a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), I am also responsible for ensuring that all project site specific safety requirements are in place and followed to the highest standards. I am a strong team player with the ability to work independently, held in high esteem by management for being detail oriented, efficient, flexible, enthusiastic, and professional, and recognized for my ability to operate in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
